Today is the day we watch “Glee”. I call this English conversation club as glee club now. But today, we was able to watch just first 6 minutes since a member said we should spare more time for conversation rather than watching through the episode. This time, we stopped the DVD sentence by sentence. I felt it was extreme. It might good for me to have a chance to explain the meaning to them in English since it will be my speaking practice. However, rather than that, I want to watch the continuous story.
I managed to catch the 20:01 bus today. The 20:01 bus stop is bit away from office. I need to leave office 20 minutes earlier including clothes changing time. Nearer bus stop is 5-10 minutes closer. However there are only one bus every hour. I consider to buy a car. I will buy a minicar since running cost is cheaper. I want to buy a Matsuda car since Matsuda cars are manufactured in undustrial area near where I was born. Matsuda’ home is Hiroshima adjoins Okayama prefecture I was born. However, Matsuda doesn’t manufacture minicar by themselves. Minicars they sell are OEM supplied from Suzuki Alto Lapin. Since I love Matsuda, I will buy Matsuda Spiano rather than Suzuki Alto Lupin even though they are so same.
I belong to company tea ceremony club. Even though grand tea master is male since the tea ceremony history started, most tea ceremony player are women. Like any other situations, our club members are mostly women. Three males and nine women are active members. There are sleeping members also. They leave from club activity since they have been pregnant.
My friend, who is a guarantor of my marriage, will give birth this month. She is the first my friend who will give birth. Are people willing to have a baby? I don’t know if I want to have one. But when I imagine my stage of old age, I must feel lonely if I didn’t have a child. The question is when the best timing to give birth?
I sometomes join English conversation club in my company. I attended a meeting last four times since we have started to watch “Glee”. We watch one episode per week. Our assembly is every Tuesday after work. After we started watching the drama, new members joined and old memberes returned including me. Before that, the club activity was pretty boring since they started to speak Japanese after a while and did not tay to explain in English even though this club is a English club!
Today, a girl who started working for this company tag the same time with me attended a club assembly. She said she might visit bergium near future for work so she needed to practice english. Actually, she speaker to our club leader in English everyday. I found her English progressed very well. U didn’t know that she was such a hard worker. I respect her.
Last week, I attended a meeting with Korean at where I asked to interpret what my boss said in Japanese. I didn’t expected I needed to interpret at live! My English is not that good. It was very taugh but that was the reason why my boss asked me to attend the meeting even though my job itself has no relation to it. I guess my boss anticipated too much so I wonder if he let me attend next meeting or not. Even more, the Korean said he hired Japanese speaking worker so he would accompany his next meeting. I’m so useless.
I’m out Iidabashi, Tokyo for meet up. This is the first meet up for me in Japan (I have had once in NY last May). Iidabashi is far from my house. It took more than a hour. I found the cafe where the meet up takes place. It was a very nice cafe called “channel cafe” since this is a channel front cafe. This is the first time for us to come here. It seemed we needed to order before seated so we ordered cake and coffee sets. After order, I checked in via meet up web site and asked where they were. Then, I noticed they changed the meeting place from channel cafe to pront which is 10 minutes walk from here. It is not so far but we’ve ordered already. I completely lost the enthusiasm to attend the meet up and enjoyed brownies and coffee on the out wood deck.

Last weekend, I went Tokyo to meet my boyfriend by the last plane. He waited me at Haneda airport. He arrived there 2 hours before when I arrived. It’s mean he arrived there before I left Fukuoka. I can easily imagine how he excited to meet me.
Next day, we went to Tokyo national museum because I had a coupon, which was enclosed with receipt of viewing fees. I expected to see some pictures of Leonardo da Vinci but there was only one picture. True that was an excellent painting but only one! Too few! There was a national museum so we can see many historical objects. And I was amazed because almost all of them were national treasures and important cultural assets. We have a national museum also in Fukuoka but it was not as great as Tokyo’s although there were less people than Fukuoka. It’s not fair sometime I feel.
On Sunday, we went to NHK studio park. I had a coupon also here. I know most people don’t like NHK because it’s too conservative and stubborn bureaucracy. That’s true but not always true. There are many innovative programs such as On Air Battle, Salary Man Neo, Project X and so on. NHK is the network which I like the best. At there, fortunately, I was abele to attend recording of a radio program which personalities were Packen Macken, famous Japanese comedians. To be exact, one is from America (and he is a Harvardman!) and the other is Japanese. I like Packen so I was really glad to attend the show. And the most happily, he talked to me! I talked with himJ
I did some experiment but it didn’t work. The data were not clear to read the sequence. I don’t know what the problem was. That’s a problem. How can I improve? Umm…
Tomorrow, our laboratory will have 4 newcomers. All of them are men and we will have cherry-blossom viewing as a welcome party so freshmen of master course, I mean that I and three boys, went to super market to buy some foods and drinks. We will cook chirashi sushi, which is a vinegared rice with thin strips of egg, pieces of raw fish, vegetables and crab meat arranged on top, for the party! And we had to buy lots of beer. You know, I hate beer except for Tsingtao beer. I heard that Tsingtao beer is Northern European manner. I have never been to Northern Europe and tried Northern European beer so I don’t know it’s taste similar or not. Anyway, I like it because it’s not so bitter.
After buying some grocery we went to see the location where we will have welcome party tomorrow. And we were amazed! We stretched a rope around the area and put a sign on which we wrote the name of our laboratory, the extended number and the day we would use this place. However, last night rain and wind have flown it away and we found a new sign which said another laboratory would use the same place on the same day! So we had to change the place where we would hold welcome party and the place was worse than original one. We can see few cherry-blossom from there.
I’m really looking forward to meet themJ But I’m anxious about tomorrow weather. I suppose it’ll be cold. It was snow in Tokyo today. I miss warm Hong Kong.
